Open Water Diver
Join
the worldwide well-known PADI Open Water Course and get your diving
certification. You'll start a wonderful adventure! Both certifications
are accepted all over the world. During an Open Water Course your instructor
will work with you in three major areas:
Academic Training
You should carefully read the Open Water Manual and watch the Open Water Video. Both of them are available at Tank-Ha Dive Center, but if you would like to start your training right today you can buy them at any dive center and start learning immediately. Furthermore, we'll sit together in the classroom to answer your questions and clarify the most important points of the necessary theoretical knowledge about diving.
If you choose PADI to be your certification agency, you now have the ability to do the Academic Training online. Use the following link for more information and joining the course:

Confined Water (Pool) Training
We'll work in our pool to show you and repeat over and over if necessary, every skill you'll be requested to properly perform in the open water. No skill will be attempted in open water if you didn't feel comfortable and confident doing it in the confined water first.
Open Water Training
In total we will make five open water dives, four for training purpose and one more for practice and experience. During the training dives you'll demonstrate ability to perform the skills requested in the PADI programs. The remaining bottom time will be a diving tour. Every ocean dive will be a boat dive.
Because PADI programs are performance based, and not time based, the length of the course is elastic, about four days. This gives you the time to gain confidence in your skills so you will be a safe and knowledgeable certified diver.
In general, academic and confined water training are scheduled during the morning, and open water dives run in the early afternoon. Usually we work all day (from 9:00 AM to noon, and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM).
Instructor to student ratio: 1:4 maximum, for the top level of quality and safety
Please reserve your course in advance.
Price includes all personal equipment, even wet suit and certification fees. Teaching materials are not included in the price.
