Several years ago, Club Maeva Tulum upgraded their dive facilities and staff by contracting with Tank-Ha Dive Center out of Playa del Carmen. Formerly Robinson Club Tulum, Club Maeva Tulum is now under new management. The Tank-Ha Team has been diving the area for more than 10 years and knows the dive sites as very few others. Tank-Ha has an exclusive on the mainland coast for direct trips to Cozumel Island.

Club Maeva Tulum has experienced and knowledgeable staff, only top quality diving equipment, two 40 and 29 foot boats, with radio, first aid kit, oxygen and everything else a diver needs.

Dives designed exclusively for Club Maeva Tulum guests leave from the hotel each day. Spectacular reefs can be reached quickly with our fast boats,most in about 20 minutes. Weekly dives to the island of Cozumel are available. The boat leaves the hotel and goes directly to Cozumel's famous dive sites, no need to waste time on a bus and ferry.

Guests of Club Maeva Tulum can also enjoy a diving adventure unique to this part of Mexico, cenote cavern dives. Cenotes caverns are openings into the underground river systems of the Yucatan peninsula. Enjoy the wonderful experience of diving in crystal clear fresh water (150 feet visibility) and admire the stalactites and stalagmites inside the cenote cavern. The Yucatan offers the opportunity to dive nearly every day, since cenote cavern dives can be enjoyed even if the ocean is rough. Check at the dive shop during your stay for our special dive trips to Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Akumal and the cenote caverns.

If you don't know how to dive, we can teach you. Club Maeva Tulum offers a free pool session for you to experiment with diving in a safe and supervised environment. If you like it, you'll be able to meet our special beginners dive and explore the wonderful Caribbean sea together with your instructor.

If you decided to learn scuba diving, or progress in your diving training level and experience, SSI and PADI courses are available in a wide variety, including a large choice of specialties. Students as young as 12 can learn to enjoy diving.
