Professional Dive Staff

• Boat captains are all from the local fishing tradition and know the ocean well (plus they have on board GPS and radios to back them up).

Safe and Exciting Dives

• Every dive or snorkeling trip is led by an up-to-date Divecon or Instructor, certified by SSI and/or PADI.
• We are an official DAN Business Member and supporter of local diver safety. Tank-Ha Dive Center is affiliated with the hyperbaric chamber BMM (Buceo Medico Mexicano) in Playa del Carmen.

Fast Dive Boats

• Our dive boats were specifically designed for diving. Their twin engines allow us to reach prime diving destinations in about 20 minutes.
• Snorkeling trips are on the covered and comfortable 28 foot Zacil-Ha .
• All boats are always properly maintained and designed for comfort.
• VHF radio, refreshments, life jackets, oxygen and medic/first aid kits are on board for every dive.
• Each boat can comfortably hold 8 people. For dives, we will go out even with just one diver. Snorkeling has a minimum of 2 people.

Tank-Ha Dive Center is located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, easily accessible from anywhere in town. The main Tank-Ha Dive Center is located just off Playa del Carmen's main shopping street, on 10th Street (Calle Diez) between 5th Avenue (Quinta Avenida) and 10th Avenue.

Located 27 miles south of Cancun International Airport, Playa del Carmen is, from the geographical and touristic point of view, the heart of  the Riviera Maya, in the southeast of Mexico. At equal distance from Cancun and Tulum, the village is right on the Caribbean sea and faces the island of Cozumel.
